Program Overview

The Ahn's Taekwondo Lawrenceville teens and adults curriculum (ages 12 and up) focuses on the fundamental theory of Taekwondo. Everything stems from balance.

Through poomsae (forms), students apply balance, timing, and breathing to maximize their innate power. Teens and adults also learn the philosophy of Taekwondo and how to apply it to everyday situations. Come energize your body and mind!

Our Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to get students to think about and practice everything in deeper detail — from simple weight shifting to demonstration-quality kicks and poomsae.

As knowledge deepens, students practice more advanced skills to improve confidence and concentration, and may be invited to participate in the Ahn's Taekwondo instructor training and leadership program.

We offer classes for all ages, from young children to adults. Our programs are tailored to different skill levels and goals.

No prior experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as experienced martial artists looking to refine their skills.

Comfortable athletic wear is fine for your first class. If you decide to continue, we'll guide you on getting a uniform and gear.

We recommend attending at least two classes per week for steady improvement, but you can train more frequently based on your goals.

We go beyond physical training to focus on building strong character. Our program is rooted in the values of loyalty, discipline, and perseverance helping students grow into confident, respectful individuals both on and off the mat. We teach not just technique, but the mindset and spirit of true martial artists.
